Sarah Workman, Southern Regional Extension Forestry

Sarah has a research background in Fire Ecology and works with the Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy group in the Southeast. She works within SREF, a regional extension program, is engaged in partnership development through collaborative work with faculty peers, in Extension programming, and develops and leads professional training and higher education activities. Through eXtension she is engaged in several communities of practice including eWIN, Urban Forestry and Energy Conservation, and Forest Farming.  Her skills in capacity building, program management and resource mobilization are developed from work with universities, USDA and US agencies, NGO and international organizations.
